Late update this week so I will hit just the highlights:
- The AM class just finished SLA printing so "normal" SLA printing can resume. Please just be mindful of other users and of the increased cost of SLA resin compared to most filament.
- All printers are working well, but we did have a first significant Ultimaker mess up this week that caused some issues. The quick story is a part did not adhere to the build plate and ended up sticking to the print cores causing quite a mess and risking damage to the print cores. Things seem to have recovered fine though.
- I added the following free software packages to all PCs: Blender and Meshmixer. Both of these are good CAD/printing tools. You do not have to use them but you can.
- Good job with Sculptris (and Bellus3D)! I have seen some pretty cool prints.
Lastly - and most importantly - great job Navy football with a great win over Temple! Way to go and what a kick!
